Calendar Year 2011-2012
Our monthly meetings are scheduled for the below dates - however dates may change so please check the calendar for any updates. Thank You
September 2011
This will be our first meeting of the 2011-2012 year. The meeting starts at 7:00 PM at the Leesburg Employee Wellness Center, 201 East Dixie Avenue (Venetian Gardens), Leesburg, Fl. Visitors always welcome.
October 2011
Meeting is scheduled for Oct.11 at 7 PM - same address as above. Our speaker for October is Donna Goodwin speaking on Vandas
November 2011
Meeting is scheduled for Nov. 8th at 7 PM. Our November speaker will be Wally Wilder speaking on native orchids
December 2011
Our December meeting scheduled to be held Dec. 13th consist of a Holiday Meal - meats are provided by the club and the dinner is organized by our Refreshments Chairperson, Marion Perrott.
December is also set to be one of two plant auctions at Rogers Park, tentatively scheduled to be held December 3, 2011. Please check back for further information.
January 2012- HAPPY NEW YEAR
Our January speaker is Ron Hauserman.
February 2012
Our February meeting is scheduled for Feb. 14 at 7 PM
March 2012
Our March meeting is scheduled for March 13th at 7PM
May 2012
Our regular meeting is scheduled for May 9th at 7 PM.
The first Saturday in May is tentatively set for the second plant auction of the year to be held at the Leesburg Womens Club. Please check back for further information.
June 2012
Our June meeting is our installation of Officers and Board of Directors. This meeting is scheduled for June 12th and usually consists of a short meeting with a banquet meal enjoyed by all. This will be our final meeting for the 2012 year.
